LAWS1010 Torts
Torts is a first-year law course at the University of Sydney, and it's the first course in which "real" law is studied after Foundations of Law. Torts is about civil wrongs that society recognises, where one person may bring an action against another. It encompasses such things as trespass and negligence.

PHYS1902 Physics 1B
Physics 1B is a first-year science course at the University of Sydney. For students in the Talented Students Program (TSP), part of the practical component of the course could be replaced by research project with researchers at the School of Physics. Together with Barry and Grace, I did a project entitled "Hide and Seek: The Search for High Redshift Galaxies".

TSP Water Project
Each year, the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney organises a first-year project that brings all the schools in the faculty under a common theme. In 2004, the theme was "Water", and as part of the Mathematics group, I investigated fractals, in particular, the creation of snowflakes.
